Terms and conditions of VIIth edition of Film Spring Open-Air 2012I. Open-Air for filmmakers 1. Film Spring Open-Air (Open-Air) is organised by company Film Spring Open (Organiser); 2. While producing Open-Air the Organiser will build an interactive interface consisting of a Player (Player) and a Composer (Composer) to present film materials made during the Open-Air; 3. Open-Air program includes:
4. During the course of Open-Air participants will learn theory as well as practical skills; 5. The main task for participants taking part in “Interactive Film” project is to shoot and make a short film. A common denominator of all short films made by participants and their interactivity will be a concert of a well-known artist and music soundtrack from the concert; 6. Individual films will be shown on the Internet on a specially designed interactive Player. Organisers plan to edit one film, consisting of the concert and most interesting parts of participants’ films; 7. Open-Air is carried by experienced team, professionals in film industry; II. Participants 8. Participation in the Open-Air is paid. Payment details and fees are available on www.filmspringopen.eu portal. Payment is made through the online service Pay Pal; 9. Open-Air are planned for approximately 120 participants and only for adults; 10.Participation in Open-Air is open for every professional group in film industry (e.g. producers, directors, cinematographers, script writers, actors, production designers, composers, editors, sound artists, stereographers); 11.The main condition to participate in Open-Air is to register online on the www.filmspringopen.eu portal until March 30th 2012 and to update user’s profile with current information about participant’s work in film industry; 12.The registration is open for both individual participants and organised groups. Organised groups are required to register by e-mail: gosia.tusk@filmspringopen.eu; 13. Organiser is obliged to confirm the registration and inform about accepting the participant for Open- Air within 7 days after finishing the registration process; III. Open-Air 14. Open-Air will take place on April 27th till May 6th 2012 in Krakow, Poland; 15. Open-Air consists of two parts: a theoretical and a practical one; 16.Theoretical part takes place in the Guest House of the Jagiellonian University in Przegorzały, 13 Jodłowa Street, in Krakow. Theoretical part consists of lectures including presentations, meetings and debates with professionals on Interactive Dramaturgy, 3D technology, film production and work flow of low-budget films; 17. Practical part of Open-Air consists of:
18. Next days’ activities will be dedicated to editing as well as image and sound mastering; 19. At the end of the Open-Air participants will have the possibility to show effects of their work on the Internet on the Player, hear comments and professional advice; 20.Open-Air program is available on www.filmspringopen.eu portal and detailed program (detailed schedule) will be available for confirmed and qualified participants in April 2012; IV. Rights and obligations of participants and organisers 21. Organisers provide free of charge access to computer and film equipment necessary to shoot and/ or record sound, then edit and professional supervision in order to prepare individual participants’ films; 22. Organiser does not cover accommodation, food costs, other individual expenses of participants; 23.Organiser does not bear any kind of liability for a loss, expense or destruction of participant’s property; 24.Organiser has a right to change the date of Open-Air and its program which will be announced through www.filmspringopen.eu portal and by e-mail; 25. Open-Air participants are liable for losses caused by their negligence; 26. Organiser does not provide an insurance for participants and does not bear any kind of liability for this; 27.Participants are obliged to obey safety rules on the shooting plan. Taking this into consideration the Organiser has a right to interfere in activities that are dangerous for participant’s health, in particular to prohibit or ask participants to refrain from similar actions; 28.Organiser has a right to use all film materials made by participants for promotion of current or future activities of Film Spring Open on the following fields of activities:
29.Open-Air participants and representatives of Organisers are obliged to be acquainted with and obey the terms and conditions. Participants accept the terms and conditions by registering online for Open-Air on www.filmspringopen.eu; 30. In the case of violating the terms and conditions participants will be asked to leave Open-Air.
